Interface which has to be implemented by applications to be ready for GRMS checkpoint calls (download)
Application has to register to the GRMS providing its web service address before it can be checkpionted by GRMS (see the GRMS WSDL file and section registerApplicationAccess for more details). Then, the GRMS is able to call application to checkpoint, and if necessary migrate computation to a different location. Note, that such a mechanism is an example of application-level checkpoint which means that the application is responsible for storing all important data in checkpoint file(s).

GRMS notification interface described in a WSDL file (download)
All clients (e.g. portal) and services that want to be notified by GRMS about changes concerning status of job or request must implement a notification interface.
