Each column represents a transfer operation, with source, destination, file size, number of seconds needed to transfer the file using untuned third-party GridFTP, and number of seconds needed for the transfer using tuned GridFTP and the number of parallel streams and the buffer size for the tuned transfer. The operations were performed using the file movement service which uses the adaptive service to retrieve estimates for the number of streams and buffer size parameters.
