The GAS was successfully presented during the GridLab Review in Berlin.
The first version of the GAS administration GridSphere portlet and the GRMS GridSphere portlet were used for demonstration of the GAS server working. The GAS was installed on rage1.man.poznan.pl machine and was integrated with GRMS.
Below, Cooperation between GAS, GRMS and Portal is presented.
GAS and GRMS cooperated in scenario presented below:
- User <--> Portal (User defines job 'A1' in the GRMS portlet and try to submit this job)
- Portal <--> GRMS (Portal sends job 'A1' to GRMS on Rage1)
- GRMS <--> GAS (GRMS asks GAS if User has job_submission right to GRMS)
// GAS return denied
- Administrator of GAS adds User right to submit job 'A1' to Rage1
- User <--> Portal (User defines job 'A1' in the GRMS portlet and try to submit this job)
- Portal <--> GRMS (Portal sends job 'A1' to GRMS on Rage1)
- GRMS <--> GAS (GRMS asks GAS if User has job_submission right to GRMS)
// GAS return permitted
- GRMS submit job to Rage1
The administration portlet was used to add User right to submit job.
The screenshot of the first version of administration portlet is shown below.
