GridLab WP-5

Getting started with GridLab Testbed

Loging into testbed machines

To succesfully log into testbed machines, you have to

Then simply type ;-)
gsissh -p 2222 machine.in.testbed.org
Please note that the master grid-mapfile contains mapping of DNs from user proxy credentials to UNIX account names, but it is just a suggestion, site administrators can map the DNs to any account names they want. So don't assume that for example if your DN is mapped to glab030 in the master gridmap-file, you will log in always as glab030. More specificaly, the gsissh command allows you to specify a user name, but don't do it, this option is there only for other types of authentication than GSI, like public key or password.

GridLab: Grid Application Toolkit and Testbed is co-funded by the European Commission under the Fifth Framework Programme (IST-2001-32133).
