1. How can I configure the Message Box package/webservice?
|
The Message Box package as well as Webservice is using configuration file during startup. The example file one can find in main directory of each project (config.xml file). Tip for developer: you can also force package to use your config file from other location - just call the setConfigPath method of MessageBoxFactory on service startup.

2. Is it possible for Mobile GridLab client to show pictures without using message box functionality?

Yes, you have two ways to do it. You can choose 'Browse PNG' entry in main client menu. You need to type the URL to the PNG picture in this case. You can also choose 'Vis service' from main menu. Then you can type the URL to the visualization (it can points to the visualization description file or directly to image). In case of visualization service you will see pictures that are prepared directly for your device (size, kind and color depth). In both cases, however you need to authenticate (login) yourself to the Mobile Command Center Gateway.
