Objective:
Slide presentations followed by demonstrations and
a guided hands-on programming session. At the end of the day,
participants should be able to develop and deploy GAT applications.
The subjects to be covered include:
- GAT philosophy and Design
- Using the GAT API
- How to Deploy GAT and GAT applications
- One Liners in GAT
- SAGA: a peek into the future
Participants will have the freedom to choose the features and
the applications most significant to them, potentially their
application to be solved on the GRID. Full beginners as
well as users with a parallel programming experience are
welcome.
The tutorial attendees should bring a laptop for actually
programming and deploying GAT.

What you will at least need is:
Java 1.4 or newer, download at java.sun.com
Ant 1.6 or newer (Java's equivalent of "make"), download at ant.apache.org
