Listening on Endpoints

Before you can get a call, you have to listen for the phone ringing. Likewise, before you can establish a communication channel with another process, you have to listen on an endpoint. In the case of a real phone you listen. In the case of and endpoint, guess what, you call the Listen function. Cute, no?
